NPR Interview: Robert Gwaltney Featured on Scenic Roots

Robert Gwaltney was recently featured on NPR’s Scenic Roots (WUTC) in conversation with host Ray Bassett, discussing his new novel, Sing Down the Moon.

In the interview, Gwaltney reflects on his South Georgia roots and describes his work as “Southern literary fiction where the gothic and the magical intertwine.” He shares insight into the inspiration behind Sing Down the Moon, as well as the themes of memory, identity, and inheritance that shape the novel.
